Four attendees of the 2017 Chef to Chef Conference in Atlanta — including Hound Ears Executive Chef Micheal Armes (minute 1:03) — faced off in the Mystery Basket cookoff competition after a full day of educational sessions at the Loews Atlanta Hotel.
The daughter of Director of Golf Peter Rucker, Jordan brings something special to the team at – a legacy of experiencing Hound Ears as a child. Birthday parties at the pool, junior golf clinics and Fourth of July celebrations are among her most precious memories.
After graduating from the University of North Carolina Asheville with a degree in Mass Communications in 2013, Jordan moved to Orlando, Fla. where she worked at several of the theme parks. Her positions included hairstylist at Walt Disney World, videographer at Discovery Cove, entertainment at Universal Studios Orlando, and guest services team captain at the Holy Land Experience.
“We are delighted to present Jordan Rucker to you as our Marketing Assistant, which is a newly created position,” said Don E. Vance, CCM, CPC, Chief Operating Officer/General Manager.
He added: “Jordan comes to us with a wealth of experience. As our membership and marketing efforts have grown, we believe this position, which reports to Jason Reagan, Director of Communications and Membership, will provide us with the opportunity to continue to grow our membership program. Please welcome Jordan, as you will see her out and about the club and community this season.”
Jordan is pleased to return to Hound Ears and the mountains she grew up in. In her spare time, she can be found hiking and creek walking, taking photos of animals and nature, and spending time with her family.
